The group went through lineup changes before settling on their most iconic roster of **Gyuri, Seungyeon, Hara, Jiyoung, and Nicole**. KARA became one of the **top girl groups of the second generation**, known for their catchy pop songs and signature choreography. Their 2009 hit *"Mister"* and its famous **"butt dance"** became a cultural phenomenon across Asia.

**KARA** achieved extraordinary success in **Japan**, becoming one of the first K-pop girl groups to truly break through in the Japanese market.
