T‐ARA

**T-ARA** is a girl group formed by **MBK Entertainment** (formerly Core Contents Media), debuting in **July 2009**. The group — whose most recognized lineup included **Qri, Eunjung, Hyomin, Jiyeon, Soyeon, and Boram** — became known for their **addictive electropop sound** and prolific release schedule. T-ARA released music at a staggering pace, churning out hit after hit including *"Bo Peep Bo Peep,"* *"Roly-Poly,"* *"Lovey-Dovey,"* and *"Number Nine."*

**T-ARA's** career was significantly impacted by a **bullying controversy in 2012**, which was later largely debunked but caused severe damage to their domestic popularity at the time. Despite this setback, the group maintained a massive following in **China** and other international markets. In recent years, T-ARA has experienced a **major re-evaluation**, with fans and the public acknowledging that the controversy was overblown and celebrating the group's incredible musical catalog. Their story has become a cautionary tale about the destructive power of online mob mentality, and their discography is now rightfully recognized as **one of the strongest in K-pop history**.
