October 6, 2026 · Serah S. Cherrie

TWICE is set to celebrate a major milestone with fans this month, celebrating eleven years of their debut. However, the event to commemorate this occasion has been met with nothing short of fury from fans online.

TWICE | @twicetagram/Instagram On October 5, KST, JYP Entertainment put out an official notice informing fans that TWICE will hold a fan event, 2026 TWICE FAN PARTY [ONCE UPON A THRI11] , to celebrate their 11 th anniversary with fans. The event will take place on October 17, KST, in three consecutive slots. Each slot will accommodate 250 participants, bringing the total number of participants to 750.
In addition, the event venue has been left undisclosed and will be revealed to selected participants individually.

This arrangement for such a huge milestone of a girl group of TWICE's stature has left fans angered. Many saw it as JYP Entertainment willfully disrespecting the girl group and demanded better management.
Meanwhile, JYP Entertainment was also in trouble recently for its alleged misogynistic treatment of its girl groups.
