Mark

Mark Lee is a Korean-Canadian artist who was formerly under SM Entertainment. He is best known for being the main rapper and vocalist of the boy group NCT and its sub-units NCT U, NCT 127, and NCT Dream.

Born in Canada, Mark was able to audition for SM Entertainment through the 'SM Global Audition' in Vancouver and became a trainee of the agency for four years before finally debuting as a member of NCT.

On August 24, 2016, Mark debuted as a member of the sub-unit NCT Dream. However, in December 2018, Mark graduated from the group due to its rotational system based on age.

In March of 2021, SM Entertainment surprised fans when they confirmed that Mark would officially return to NCT Dream, making it a fixed sub-unit with the seven original members.

In 2022, Mark eventually began to release his solo songs through SM Station's NCT Lab, such as "Child" and "Golden Hour."

After releasing several digital singles, Mark had his official solo debut on April 7, 2025. He debuted with his first full-length album, The Firstfruit.

On April 3, 2026, Mark posted on a handwritten letter onto his Instagram account about him terminating his contract with SM Entertainment after 10 years.

On June 3, 2026, it was revealed that Mark had established the independent record label **Upper Room Label** (also known as UPRM Label) through official social channels.
